Customer Service Representative

Customers remember how a problem ends. In this role, you are the voice that turns order questions, warranty worries, and shipping snags into clear answers—protecting the brands people trust and keeping loyalty intact. Every conversation is a chance to resolve the issue the first time and leave the customer ready to come back.

Performance Objectives

  • Resolve phone and email inquiries on orders, products, warranties, and shipping so customers leave with a confirmed next step, not a callback.
  • Process, track, and update orders accurately, cutting avoidable delays and repeat contacts.
  • Complete warranty claims end to end, documenting eligibility and outcomes so customers know exactly where they stand.
  • Guide customers through marketplace and website steps, including basic troubleshooting, until they can finish the task themselves.
  • Spot production, shipping, and process issues early and escalate them with complete facts so operations can fix the root cause.
  • Hold quality, accuracy, and handle-time standards while adapting quickly when scripts, policies, or product details change.
  • Protect brand tone in every interaction—clear, professional, and calm—even when the customer is frustrated.

Environment & Resources

You will work remotely as part of a customer-care team supporting fast-growing digital and retail brands. Day-to-day tools include phone, email, order and warranty systems, and knowledge bases, with coaching, quality reviews, and clear escalation paths. You report to a team lead who owns schedule, performance, and development. Training covers products, policies, and systems before you take live contacts.

Essential Qualifications

  • Proven ability to explain orders, policies, and next steps clearly in spoken and written English.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, and at least 18 years of age.
  • Comfort working independently on a remote team, including typing at a productive pace and following documented processes.
  • Track record of staying accurate when information, tools, or priorities shift mid-shift.
  • Customer, sales, billing, or support experience is strongly preferred; phone, email, or chat support is a plus.
  • Professional judgment: you know when to solve it yourself and when to escalate with the right details.

Role Selling Points

  • Real ownership of outcomes—orders, warranties, and shipping—not a script with no decision rights.
  • Exposure to digital brands in social, commerce, and consumer tech, with room to move as you grow.
  • People-first support: coaching, wellness resources, and a path to develop beyond the queue.
  • Remote work with a defined schedule, paid time off, and competitive hourly pay plus core benefits where eligible.
  • A team measured on customer trust and consistency, not volume alone.
