Customer Service Representative
Customers remember how a hard moment was handled. In this role you turn complex questions into clear answers, protect trust in every channel, and give brands a front line that is calm, accurate, and human. Your work keeps people safe, informed, and willing to stay—and it shows in the numbers that matter.
Performance Objectives
- Resolve inbound contacts across chat, voice, and email so first-contact resolution and quality scores meet or beat team targets.
- Diagnose the real issue quickly, apply the right policy, and close the loop with a next step the customer can act on.
- Protect community standards by spotting risk, escalating correctly, and documenting cases that need specialist review.
- Cut repeat contact by capturing root causes and feeding clear, usable insights back to operations and product partners.
- Hit daily productivity, schedule adherence, and accuracy standards without sacrificing empathy or compliance.
- Coach peers informally by sharing what works, and complete science-backed training so new tools and processes stick.
Environment & Resources
You join a dedicated customer-care pod led by a team lead, with quality, workforce, and knowledge partners beside you. You work in a modern omnichannel platform with approved knowledge bases, coaching scorecards, and real-time support from specialists. Expectations, schedules, and performance goals are set with your lead; you own the outcomes, not the script.
Essential Qualifications
- Proven ability to handle live customer conversations and leave the issue solved, not parked.
- Clear written and spoken communication in the languages required for the assigned program.
- Comfort following policy while using judgment when the case does not match the template.
- Reliable attendance and the discipline to manage a measured queue without dropping quality.
- Basic digital fluency: navigating multiple systems, logging accurate notes, and learning new tools fast.
- Sound judgment on privacy, safety, and when to escalate rather than improvise.
Role Selling Points
- People-first culture with structured coaching, not sink-or-swim floor time.
- Work that sits at the intersection of customer care, trust and safety, and smarter digital experiences.
- Visible performance standards so strong contributors can see progress and earn more responsibility.
- Exposure to omnichannel support and emerging AI-assisted workflows used to help people, not replace judgment.
